The resort made the magazine's "Best in the World" Readers' Choice Awards. The issue is currently on newsstands. The Tamaya also has been named one of the leading hotels for meetings in western North America for its sixth year in a row from Smart Meetings magazine in its December 2009 issue. "It is a tremendous honor to be recognized by Conde Nast Traveler as the 47th top mainland resort in the United States and by Smart Meetings as one of the best meeting hotels in Western North America." said Jerry Westenhaver, Tamaya general manager.
